Well, as the saying goes, “the more things change, the more things stay the same”. A new year is upon us and with as much optimism and positivity that it brings, there’s always that negative baggage that manages to tag along.
2018 saw us report quite a handful of run-ins and encounters African Americans trying so hard to mind their business had with racist white people and looking at how this year has started with a few incidents, it seems like they still can’t catch a break.
With just about two weeks into January, we have unfortunately seen instances of racially motivated crimes and situations that shouldn’t be happening at all.
