She celebrated the news on LinkedIn, writing, “Grateful is the only word that sums up how I’m feeling. I’m so excited about this next step and humbled Mr. Johnson sees me as more than fit to lead his incredible enterprise. When I came to Los Angeles 8 years ago, I didn’t know what was on the horizon, but took a leap of faith for an opportunity I didn’t even know existed.”

She continued, “My biggest goals in life have always been to make my family proud, be someone little me could look up to, and lift others up in the process, the same way so many incredible bosses and mentors have done for me. I hope that my journey inspires others to stay humble, work hard, and accept when others speak greatness over you. God is incredible and continues to open doors I’ve never imagined. All glory to Him! It’s only up from here.”

Magic Johnson Enterprises, founded by “Magic” Johnson, is a diversified investment company. Its mission is to support economic empowerment and community development by making strategic partnerships and investments across various sectors, including real estate, technology, sports, and entertainment.
