Popular singer Billie Eilish drew divided opinion after she condemned ICE’s illegal immigration crackdown during her acceptance speech at the 2026 Grammy Awards on Sunday.
The recent person to weigh in on Eilish’s sentiments is Amber Rose, who is a staunch Trump supporter.
When she took the stage to accept the Grammy award for Song of the Year, Eilish, 24, said, “As grateful as I feel, I honestly don’t feel like I need to say anything but that no one is illegal on stolen land … f*** ICE,” TMZ reported.
And though Rose, 42, asked for Eilish to be given “a little more compassion,” she emphasized that the anti-ICE comments being made by the Bad Guy singer and “many of her peers” were “making things worse.”
“I think we should give Billie Eilish a little more compassion. She’s only 24 years old and thinks she’s helping. Sh*t, I did too at that age. It took my father to sit down, be patient and show me that what I was saying, feeling and believing was actually wrong,” the model and socialite wrote on Instagram on Thursday.
Rose also claimed that she was initially “lied to and manipulated by left-wing, fake news media.”
“I too was a detriment to society with my slut walk protests. Although we’ve donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to help victims of rape and sexual assault, it eventually turned into something that I was no longer proud of,” she added.
Rose then went ahead to share her views about America’s current illegal immigration policies, saying that the law should be allowed to take its course and not favor people.
“We all know there are some amazing, sweet, loving, good hearted people that are here illegally. I don’t think anyone is disputing that, but that doesn’t change the fact that they are illegal and they must do it the right way like millions of legal immigrants that waited in line,” she wrote. “The law is the law and we must all follow it.”
Rose then addressed the anti-ICE comments from Eilish and others.
“I truly believe Billie thinks she’s doing the right thing as well as many of her peers right now but they’re not! YALL ARE MAKING THINGS WORSE!!! Do ur research and be a positive voice if you have a platform! America First!!!,” she wrote.
Rose ended her post with emojis of three American flags.
Though Eilish’s anti-ICE comments at the Grammys were lauded by a section of people, others, including race car driver Danica Patrick and DHS Secretary Kristi Noem called her out, TMZ reported.
But the singer’s brother, Finneas, ultimately came to her defense in a post on Instagram Threads.
“Seeing a lot of very powerful old white men outraged about what my 24 year old sister said during her acceptance speech. We can literally see your names in the Epstein files,” he shared on Wednesday.
