Africa Foundation held its annual gala dinner in New York City on Oct 9th, 2012. The event raised over $260,000 for rural community development in Africa. The distinguished guest for the evening was Honorable George Monyemangene, South African Consul General. Keynote Speaker was Dominic Salvatore, Distinguished Professor and Director of the Ph.D. Program in Economics, Fordham University, Master of Ceremonies: Richard Wiese, Host and Producer of ABC series “Born to Explore”. Auctioneer: Eliza Osborne, Vice President, Sotheby’s.
Guest included: Alex Kuczynski, Chris and Richard Mack, Frances Schultz, Jennifer Creel, Dawn Marie Grannum, Peter Jallah, Enyinne Owunwanne, Jennifer Kennedy, Lucia Hwong Gordon, Nina Griscom, Patty Raynes and Sara Ayers. Music for the evening was produced by Cocody Productions’ Jake Bright.
