Cast engagement with the audience
Lupita Nyongo who plays Nakia in the film did this especially well. Lupita shared behind the scenes videos with fans on social media, often making or sharing Wakanda themed statements – eg. “WakandaWednesdays” – that trended on social media. She also gave kids in her hometown in Kenya free passes to watch the film, which was also news on social media and the press.
