A different World (1987-1993)
This show was a spin-off of the Cosby Show. It took on the experiences of black college students and real issues like racism, HIV and rape.
It starred Lisa Bonnet, who later left the show and her co- stars Jasmine Guy and Kadeem Harrison who carried the mantle of the show graciously for the audience.
