Rapper-actor Bow Wow, aka Shad Gregory Moss, has sparked controversy online after declaring that he misses attending Sean “Diddy” Combs’ events.

The 37-year-old rapper claimed this during an appearance on the More To The Story Podcast with Rocsi Diaz, where he discussed how two BET Awards (the BET Awards in June and the BET Hip Hop Awards last week) seemed empty because Diddy’s afterparties did not take place.

He stated, “The past two, they just didn’t feel right cause there was no motion, there was no parties, there was nowhere to go.”

Although he feels sorry for Combs’ kids in the midst of his legal troubles, Bow Wow pointed out that Diddy used to be considered the king of the celebrity social scene.

He went on: “It’s like, he was the guy that every young hustler looked up to – like, he just makes me… he just stepped your hustle game up, you know what I mean?”

“Me and Jermaine spoke about and I was like, ‘I never thought we would see him in this position, ever’—he’s like the gatekeeper to the game,” the “Like Mike” actor remarked, referring to how “unreal” the rap mogul’s legal situation appears to be.

Nonetheless, netizens called Bow Wow out for his words in light of the current situation.

“Can he read the room?” one user asked, while another expressed, “Soooooo… nobody else but Diddy can host a party? I’m confused.”

Meanwhile, Diddy is facing an increasing number of charges. The Daily Mail reports that he is facing a new wave of lawsuits accusing him of sexually assaulting men, raping women, and molestation of a 16-year-old kid, the first time he has been sued by someone who claims they were assaulted as a child.

The lawsuits were filed anonymously to safeguard the accusers’ identities: two by women labeled as Jane Does and four by men identified as John Does.
