Basketball Wives star Brittany Renner recently revealed that she and rapper Kevin Gates have divorced after being married for just 52 days. Per PEOPLE, Renner, 33, opened up about their separation during an interview with Los Angeles radio station REAL 92.3 LA.
“We got married April 6 and divorced May 28,” Renner said in the interview that was published over the weekend. Despite their divorce, it appears Renner, who shares a 4-year-old son with NBA star P.J. Washington, is moving on as she said “all is well.”
“I don’t feel like it’s a sucky situation because what is meant to be is always going to be,” the influencer explained, adding that she’s unremorseful.

“I followed my heart and that’s what more than most people can say, and I think when you do that, you get all the clarity you need and there’s no stone left unturned and there’s no regret.”

“A lot of people, their issue is, even just in dating, in marriage, it’s people just don’t give it their all,” she continued. “They don’t just go for it. But I feel like when you do, you’re at peace with whatever happens because I gave 100 percent.”
Renner and the 2 Phones rapper ending their marriage comes after she converted to Islam. In May, she also spoke highly of her relationship with her 39-year-old then-husband.
“All I can say is, is that I’m with the person that I quite literally dreamed of,” she told the news outlet at the time. “And to be able to just wake up next to him and spend time with him, even to have him here behind me, it’s like so surreal. He’s just the most beautiful person inside and out that I’ve ever met.”
