Celebrating 11 young African entrepreneurs who are changing the world

They have distinguished themselves in their respective fields, be it manufacturing, tech, media, agriculture, financial services, and fashion.

These young entrepreneurs focus on problems facing the continent, find amicable solutions to them and in the process, are creating more wealth, jobs and business opportunities for the benefit of the continent.

Africa is already home to the world’s youngest population and with its youth demographic expected to grow further, these young people are not just adding to the number but have been passionate about issues in their community.

As the world celebrates International Youth Day today to draw attention to a given set of cultural and legal issues surrounding youth, here are some young entrepreneurs in Africa who are making it despite the challenges and risks:
