Kanye West – Gap Sales Associate
Before Kanye’s claim to fame, he worked as a sales associate at the GAP while growing up in Chicago. According to Kanye, he didn’t enjoy it and he made it clear in his 2004 song “Spaceship” from his debut album The College Dropout.
In the song, he rapped that he made “No scratch” at the retailer, so he stole from it and eventually quit. Since then, Kanye has become the most talked-about black celebrity in hip-hop, designing his own clothing collection, Yeezy Collections.
