A White female Cinnabon worker in Wisconsin, who was videoed going on a racist tirade at Somali customers, has been fired, the cinnamon roll franchise announced.
Reacting to the incident in a statement on X, the Georgia-based company said they had seen the “disturbing video from the Cinnabon bakery in Ashwaubenon, WI, and we do not condone this behavior.”
“The former employee was immediately terminated by the franchise owner,” the statement added. “Their actions do not reflect our values or the welcoming experience every guest deserves.”
In another statement to The Associated Press, Cinnabon said that the former employee’s “actions and statements are completely unacceptable and in no way reflect the values of Cinnabon, our franchisees, or the welcoming environment we expect for every guest and team member.”
In the video that was posted on TikTok, the former employee is heard admitting that she’s a racist and also seemingly using the N-word at one of the customers.
“I am racist and I’ll say it to the whole entire world. Don’t be disrespectful,” the White woman is also heard saying before one of the customers tells her that she’s “ruining” her “life by the way.”

The former employee is then seen flipping the middle finger at the customers with her two hands.
The TikTok user, who shared the video of the encounter, stated that the incident happened at a mall in Ashwaubenon on Friday, December 5, ABC News reported. She said that she went to the bakery with her husband after they took a shopping break.
The customer stated that she asked the worker to add extra caramel to a caramel pecan cinnamon roll she had ordered, as it seemingly wasn’t enough. The customer stated that she started filming the incident after the worker became hostile and made fun of her hijab.
An online fundraiser set up to help raise funds for the customers identified the couple as “black Somali Muslim,” adding that the worker’s actions had left them “traumatized.”
A different fundraising campaign was seemingly set up for the former worker, and thousands of dollars had been raised for her at the time of this report, per ABC News. The fundraising campaign was set up on the same Christian crowdfunding platform where a Minnesota woman received hundreds of thousands of dollars after she admitted to calling a 5-year-old Black autistic boy the N-word during an incident at a playground in April.
