Drake once again showed love to a fan attending his concert by gifting him $50,000 to make him feel better after the rapper got to know the concert-goer was going through a breakup. According to the Independent, the Canadian rapper put a smile on the heartbroken fan’s face during one of his “It’s All a Blur” Tour concerts in Miami.
The fan is said to have caught Drake’s attention with a sign he was holding. The fan disclosed on the sign that he and his ex-girlfriend were initially supposed to attend the concert together, but they unfortunately broke up.
“I like that sign,” the Certified Lover Boy rapper was heard saying during his interaction with the fan. “That’s a good sign to pick tonight. Usually I’ll do something nice for a lady. I’ll do something nice, I’ll give away a bag or some s**t like that.”
“But my bro right here, he said: ‘I spent all my savings buying tickets for me and my ex, but Honestly, Nevermind, it’s really Her Loss,’” he said in reference to the sign. Drake ironically has an album named Honestly, Nevermind.
Drake also said he felt sad for the fan. “So, she ain’t come with you tonight? She ain’t come with you tonight – to the Drake show? What the f**k is wrong with her?” he asked, before hyping up the fan. “You in here just icy with the gold chain and the sunglasses on?”
The 36-year-old rapper then disclosed he was going to gift the fan $50,000 in an effort to cheer him up. “You know what? She’s gonna feel real f***ed up ’cause I’ma give you 50 bands, so you gon’ flex on her tonight,” he said. “That’s how we doing it tonight, big dog! It’s your night tonight!”
This isn’t the first time Drake has shown love to his fans at his concerts. During one of his concerts in Los Angeles in August, the Nothing Was The Same rapper gifted a fan an expensive Hermés Birkin bag, Face2Face Africa reported.
In September, he similarly gifted $50,000 to a fan who spent money for furniture on his concert tickets.
