Drake has reportedly postponed his remaining tour dates in Australia and New Zealand due to a schedule clash, according to his representative.
Drake postponed a show in the tour set for March 4 in Brisbane and another in Sydney on March 7.
Also, two successive concerts set for March 15 and 16 in Auckland have been rescheduled.
According to a TMZ report, Drake’s concert set is huge and it would be a struggle to haul around all that equipment between the cities where he’s expected to perform.
These cities are far apart and this is one of the major reasons why fans in Australia and New Zealand will have to wait for new dates to see Drizzy.
Drake’s representative says the rapper and his team are “actively working” to reschedule the canceled shows, bringing new dates while adding more gigs to his “Anita Max Win Tour.”
Also, fans who purchased tickets to the now-cancelled concerts can wait for the new dates or simply apply for ticket refunds.
Drake’s representative also sent out an apology to the fans and assured them the rescheduled dates would be shared as soon as possible.
Drizzy’s rap feud with fellow rapper Kendrick Lamar has garnered loads of attention in recent months.
Nonetheless, it appears the Canadian rapper is trying to put the whole Kendrick battle behind him with the release of his new record collaboration with singer PARTYNEXTDOOR.
