Poem: Ethereal Africa

africaEthereal continent of old, are you ready for your new age? We stopped hoping for the worst. We have been through so much and could not realize the good things happening to us now. Forget about everything you’ve EVER heard. This New Generation that came from her CANNOT COMPREHEND why her Mother has been belittled for so long.

Expanding our vocabulary, we juggled with words like dragoman and quintessential yet we were still misunderstood. Poetry is our best form of Expression. Allow us to tell you about This Dark Land you call “Africa,” her grounds are full of love and rage. Here are a couple roses and no more guns.

Revolutionary from This Stance. We do it because of her; for so long her children were forced in to cages. Living because of her! Hence we went to this Well; it was dried up…. Inspired by the Source of Everlasting Words, we wrote to our Muse, she’s an Eternal source of inspiration.

“Mene, Mene, Tekel, Peres” were the inscriptions on her invisible walls. Please don’t be amused because you’ll be for-ever confused: believe in Her Beauty. It’s Peaceful. Believe in Peace, it’s Beautiful.

Let’s make the most of Today.

Blessings upon you, Mother of All Humans, whether Black, White, or not and more. Blessings for that better tomorrow. We hunger for more for those reasons. As we fervently go after Success. We thirst for even [after] more.

Our time is now.
