Face2Face Africa’s flagship event, the annual Pan-African Weekend (PAW), will be held in New York City from July 18 to 21, 2019.
Pan-African media company Face2Face Africa will be hosting the eighth edition of its annual fest, the Pan-African Weekend, from July 18-21.
Held in New York City, the Pan-African Weekend is a prestigious annual celebration of pan-African culture and achievement. It is the only national conference of its kind designed to highlight, empower and celebrate the impact and contributions of foreign-born blacks and people of African descent in the United States to foster greater economic, social, and cultural relations within black communities.
The action-packed conference features four major events: the Pan-African Women Forum; the IAAPA Networking Mixer; the FACE List Awards gala; and the Closing Jazz Brunch.
The 2019 PAW will kick off on Thursday, July 18, with the Pan-African Women Forum which presents the opportunity to meet, engage, and network with influential women in business and other industries as they share their journeys and important life, business and career lessons. The event features a panel discussion followed by a networking session.
On Friday, July 19, attendees will have the opportunity to network with business leaders and other like-minded professionals at the IAAPA Networking Mixer.
The highlight of the Pan-African Weekend is the FACE List Awards gala, which will take place on Saturday, July 20. The FACE List Awards is the most prestigious celebration of pan-African achievement, where pioneers and icons will be honored for their contributions and impact on the pan-African community.
Finally, the Pan-African Weekend will conclude on Sunday, July 21, with the Jazz Brunch, which provides the opportunity for intimate networking with speakers and special guests from the weekend events. Guests will enjoy food and live performances.
