Kenya – 1962
In 1962, television was introduced into Kenya when the Kenyan Broadcasting Cooperation was established in 1961. Interestingly, the first transmission was in a farmhouse in Limururu. The television broadcasting came 44 years after the establishment of the radio station in Kenya by the British in 1928.
