Garcelle Beauvais

Born in Saint-Marc, Haiti, Garcelle Beauvais, like Jimmy Jean Louis moved to the U.S to pursue her dream after her parents divorced. She ventured into modeling and later acting.

She is best known for her role as Francesca “Fancy” Monroe in The WB television sitcom, The Jamie Foxx Show, which ran from 1996 to 2001, and as Valerie Heywood in the ABC crime drama, NYPD Blue.
