Senegal en route to test everyone with homemade kits

DiaTropix, a new custom-built facility for epidemics-related innovation, in Dakar, Senegal, is manufacturing $1 test kits for the country’s inhabitants.

The facility is a partnership between the Senegalese and UK governments. The test kits deliver results on blood and saliva samples in about 10 minutes.
