Langston Hughes

Arguably the most famous from the movement, Hughes was a jazz and literary star who produced quality and volume.

His famous poem, I, Too is a timeless piece of writing.

Hughes’ sexuality is described by Sandra West as “apparent love for black men as evidenced through a series of unpublished poems he wrote to a black male lover named ‘Beauty’.”
