The Dominican Republic was originally made of the indegenous Taino people and it is one of the most diverse Caribbean Islands with a rich cultural heritage curated from the Taino, Africans and Spanish influences that contributes the the unique traditions of Dominicans.


These traditions might seem strange to others but to Dominicans it is a part of who they are. Many people flock to the Dominican Republic for vacations and to explore different cultures. Understanding these unique traditions before arrival will make your trip a more relaxed and memorable one.
