Being 1.9 meters tall, 25-year-old Sibusiso Ngwenya struggled to find trousers that would fit down to his shoes, and it was always an exercise in futility. So he decided to design socks to close the gap and make them in bright colors to make the point. Skinny Sbu Socks is now a popular brand in South Africa, attracting high-ranking clients such as Mmusi Maimane, South Africa’s main opposition leader, and TV personality Maps Maponyane.
