In today’s edition of news not widely disseminated, 24-year-old Brehanna Davis is breaking ground in the racing realm.

Davis is the first black female to be on a NASCAR pit crew and one of the only two women to perform pit crew work.

Davis says of her accomplishments, “It feels great,” “It’s breaking down barriers, opening doors for other people who look like me.”
