Billionaire Jay Z through his foundation, The Shawn Carter Foundation, has donated a whopping $1 million against the fight of coronavirus.

According to Insider, his foundation will also support undocumented workers, the incarcerated, homeless and elderly population and children of frontline healthcare workers in the heavy hit cities.

“In times of crisis it is imperative that we come together as one community to ensure that everyone, especially the most vulnerable, has access to critical needs: shelter, health, nutrition and education,” Gloria Carter, Jay-Z’s mother and the CEO of the foundation, said in a statement shared with the media.
