A Disney-inspired influencer named Dominique Brown, also called ‘HellooDomo’ on Instagram died aged 34 on December 5 after she suffered a severe allergic reaction at a BoxLunch event, as per reports.
According to witnesses, Brown unknowingly consumed food that contained an allergen at the event, and other influencers claim she had been assured it was safe and that it did not have the ingredient that would cause a reaction.
Many have been left distraught after hearing the news that one of their favorite influencers has died.

An X user @hideyagrannies, who described Brown as her mother’s best friend for the past decade revealed that the influencer was allergic to peanuts.
The user then alleged that when Brown began feeling unwell, her request to be taken to the hospital was ignored.
“She asked if there were peanuts in the food, and everyone told her no,” he said.
“When she instantly felt bad, she asked someone to take her to the hospital. Everyone said no and took pictures first. So sad.”
BoxLunch’s parent company, Hot Topic, however, has yet to comment on the incident.
After her death, Brown’s brother, Patrick Ramos, shared a message with her Instagram followers, thanking them for their support and love.
“Disney did bring her joy, but it was unparalleled that she found a community who loved her and Disney as much as she did,” he wrote. “I will miss my sister and best friend and that infectious smile she always had. Thank you, truly, from the bottom of my heart.”
Details about the location of the event and additional circumstances surrounding Brown’s death also remain unclear.
The influencer’s death comes months after another fatal allergic reaction which involved a Disney dining experience.
42-year-old NYU Langone doctor Kanokporn Tangsuan died on October 5 after he ate contaminated food with nuts at Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant in Disney Springs, as per a lawsuit filed by her husband, Jeffrey Piccolo.
The lawsuit accuses Walt Disney Parks and Resorts of negligence and failure to train staff on food safety. Piccolo is now seeking over $50,000 in damages for mental anguish, funeral costs, and loss of income.
