American rapper Lil Tjay has been banned from the Madison Square Garden after spitting on a security guard at a boxing event.
The Bronx-bred rapper’s actions have gone viral, and many on social media have expressed dissatisfaction with his disturbing stunt.
On Friday, Tjay spat in a guard’s face during the WBO lightweight champion bout between Keyshawn Davis and Denys Berinchyk, and the price he’s got to pay for his actions is being banned from the iconic venue.

Upon arriving at the event, Tjay and his crew pushed to get ringside without having the proper clearance to be in the VIP area.
Once Tjay was informed he had finally been granted access, the American rapper out of anger spat in the guard’s face, with multiple angles of the gross skirmish captured in a video.
“Our policy is that patrons that engage in confrontational and disruptive behavior will be escorted out and banned from all MSG properties,” a spokesperson for MSG told TMZ.
Lil Tjay has always made his stance clear that he would never be pegged back by anyone.
Back in 2023, Tjay was ready to exchange fists with someone at Hot 97’s annual Summer Jam event and even threatened to fire his security for trying to hold him back.
“You’re gonna get fired,” Lil Tjay says multiple times in the video as the bodyguard wouldn’t let go. “Do not touch me.”
While he is facing dire consequences for his actions, the rapper has yet to comment on his viral stunt despite receiving backlash from some fans on social media.
