The continent of Africa is a treasure trove of beauty, wonder and history.

These have made tourism one of the most important industries in Africa, contributing 8.5% of the continent’s gross domestic product (GDP) in 2018, according to the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC).

There is no doubt the motherland is blessed with awe-inspiring holiday destinations, and with the continent raking in billions of dollars in annual revenue, this makes the industry so indispensable.

From historic landmarks and structures, crystal clear beaches, awesome nature reserves and national parks, unique and beautiful traditions and customs to hospitable locals, just to mention a few, the continent has it all and visitors are guaranteed unforgettable experiences.
