Stormzy

The vocalist won statuettes for the categories of British male solo artist and British Album for his latest and first studio album, “Gang Signs & Prayer.” Born Michael Ebenazer Kwadjo Omari Owuo, Jr., the 24-year-old “grime and hip-hop” artist was raised in Thornton Heath, London.  Stormzy broke into the British music scene in 2010; since, he’s released a mixtape, studio LP, and has been featured on numerous tracks as either the featured or lead artist.  “Gang Signs & Prayer” was released in 2017 and charted at number one on the UK Albums Chart.
