Kendrick Lamar

Lamar is definitely dominating the music scene internationally.  He just released an album titled Black Panther: The Album which is generating its own steam due to the highly acclaimed film of the same title.  Lamar won in the category of International male solo artist. The 30-year-old was raised in Compton, California and began his career in 2004. He gained noticeable attention in 2010 with his LP good kid, “m.A.A.d city.”  Nonetheless, it was his album, “To Pimp a Butterfly” that garnered him the accolades he so richly deserves.

These wins solidify the fact that our influence permeates all parts of the world.
