Winner Tshipa, a young soccer content creator, has taken social media by storm with his catchphrase “There we land,” which echoes the style of veteran Italian sports journalist Fabrizio Romano’s famous “Here we go.”

Tshipa’s content has garnered attention not only from soccer fans but also from clubs, players, and major sports brands like Adidas.

Tshipa first gained traction on TikTok before expanding his reach to Instagram and X, focusing on soccer content and player transfers.

Initially, in July, Tshipa faced ridicule for emulating Romano’s style, but he remained undeterred, continuing to express his thoughts and creative content. His perseverance has paid off—Tshipa is now a leading voice in soccer transfers, even beating Romano to the punch on some breaking news posts. As of August 2024, his content is approaching 10 million views, and he’s closing in on 500,000 organic followers on TikTok.

In a nod to his rising influence, English Premier League club Brighton & Hove Albion used Tshipa’s content in a player announcement. Additionally, Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes responded to one of Tshipa’s posts on TikTok, saying, “There we land, keep it up!”

Even Romano himself took note, commenting on one of Tshipa’s Instagram posts, “I might retire soon guys, it’s time.”

Tshipa aspires to become a soccer commentator and is now on the path to achieving that goal, thanks to the widespread support he has received on social media. While he still has some way to go in terms of academic and professional qualifications, his current trajectory suggests a bright future ahead.

Soccer has found a new off-pitch icon in Tshipa, and his catchphrase “There we land” is set to become a lasting fixture in the social media lexicon.
