Snoop Dogg has publicly shown support for his 26-year-old daughter, Cori Broadus, following the recent loss of her baby. The rapper posted a photo on Instagram featuring himself, Cori, and her older brothers, Corde, 31, and Cordell, 28.

He captioned the image with just a heart and prayer hands emoji, conveying his support without any accompanying text.

According to People, Cori announced that her baby daughter, Codi Dreaux, has died in a post on her Instagram Stories on January 31.

The post featured a black-and-white photo of her smiling while holding her baby. She wrote over the photo, “Monday I lost the love of my life. My Codi,” along with an emoji of an angel wing.

Her fiancé, Wayne Deuce, also shared a series of photos on his own Instagram Stories.

He wrote over an image of himself holding his daughter, “I been the saddest since u left me Codi Dreaux. But I know u at peace. Daddy will always love you. My baby.”

Cori Broadus, Snoop Dogg’s youngest child and only daughter, shared the news of her pregnancy with a baby girl in December 2024. Despite having battled lupus since her diagnosis at age six, she had previously confirmed that she was feeling great.

“I found out Oct. 28,” she told E! News.

“I’m a high-risk pregnancy, and doctors were very concerned for me and the baby, but God has his hands on me,” she added at the time.

During the interview, she also mentioned that her parents were excitedly looking forward to their grandchild’s birth.

In a subsequent Instagram post in February 2025, she revealed that Codi had arrived prematurely, three months ahead of schedule. The birth announcement included a black-and-white photo of the baby’s foot.

“The princess arrived at 6 months,” she wrote. “I’ve cried and cried, I’ve compared and compared, blaming myself that I wasn’t able to give her all that she needed. But no matter what God always shows me that I’m His Child!”

“Baby girl came at 25 weeks today and she’s perfect as ever!” she continued. “Thank You God for getting me this far no matter the odds that are constantly thrown against me ????.”

Cori’s Instagram Stories post, shared on the same day, detailed that she had a C-section to deliver the baby. This was necessary because doctors discovered she was developing HELLP syndrome, which is an acronym for Hemolysis (the destruction of red blood cells), Elevated Liver enzymes, and Low Platelets.

For months, the mother and her baby were in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Cori openly documented her journey as a NICU mother for her followers, honestly sharing the challenges and complications that arose following her daughter’s premature birth.

In September 2025, she shared the experience with Us Weekly, highlighting her daughter’s strength during the extended hospital stay.

“That girl is so feisty. That’s a feisty girl. She just has so much character,” Broadus shared at the time. “The doctors and nurses always tell me, ‘Your baby got her mind. She’s smart. She’s alert. She knows what’s going on. She can hear. She can see. Yeah, the circumstances are not what you thought they would be, but it could be worse.’ That girl is just a sweet little firecracker.”

Codi was finally discharged and brought home in early January after spending ten months in the NICU.

On January 6, Cori posted an Instagram photo of herself and child cozying up on her bed, accompanied by the caption, “She’s home. Thank you for every prayer, every message, every ounce of love. God heard them all.”
