Rihanna sure knows how to make us all wait, but we still love our girl RiRi. Although her 9th studio album is nowhere in sight, Rihanna is bringing us some quarantine fun with her Savage X Fenty lingerie line. The multi-talented singer’s line is celebrating two years since it was launched, quarantine style.
The line which debuted in 2018 is a part of her multifaceted beauty and fashion empire and although the line is subscription-based, she is serving us with all the comfy lingerie we need as we self -isolate. Almost every sector in the world is struggling to adapt to the times as we know it and the fashion industry is no exception.
Rihanna still wanted to launch Savage X Fenty’s 2nd-anniversary campaign without putting her brand ambassadors at risk of contracting the virus with an actual shoot on set. Thus, she put her ingenuity to work by launching a selfie-based summer campaign.
She collaborated with “its crew of brand ambassadors, friends and even customers” in the campaign titled Savage x Summer, Fashionista reported.
The message behind this campaign is simple. It seeks to convey “community, connection and celebration through self-photographed images of the models in Savage x Fenty’s newest pieces, which are then reimagined with creative borders, treatments and illustrations by mixed-media artist Rafatoon.”
Still uncertain if you should subscribe to RiRi’s lingerie line? Well, she enlisted fashion influencers like Ayesha Perry-Iqbal, Corie Rayvon, Denise Bidot, Jazzmyne Jay, Jordan Emanuel in May’s product promo, not forgetting the style icon herself certainly making an appearance.
Like her Fenty Beauty makeup has almost every skin tone under the sun, this lingerie line has a vast size range which has something in store for everyone. It’s time to get your groove on and get a wee bit sexier during quarantine and bad gal RiRi just made some of us consider her offer with this campaign.
