Deandre Joshua
The first death, which was linked to activism over Brown’s shooting, was in November 2014, following riots after a grand jury delivered a no-bill for the shooting of Brown. The next morning, Deandra Joshua was found dead inside his car not too far from the apartment Brown had been shot. Joshua was shot in the head and his body was lit on fire. The police investigated his death as a homicide, adding that his death could have been linked to the protests. The case till now remains unsolved.
