Barbara Lee
Barbara Lee is the congressional representative for California’s 13th district. She has served in Congress since 1998 which leaves very little doubt about her experience in public service.
One of the things that go for Lee in a quest to join a ticket is the fact that although she is firmly in Democratic establishment, she is loved by the left-wing of the party. Maybe, this speaks to her ability to bring people together.
Lee is, however, 73 years old. If she does make it onto a ticket, she will be the oldest running mate in modern American electoral history.
