Stacey Abrams

Abrams’ entry into national limelight coincided with the recent beginning of wider appreciation or black women in liberal politics. She lost a gubernatorial race under controversial circumstances but she is even more popular now.

Abrams has described herself as a progressive. But she is also quite loved by the moderates in the Democratic establishment and it is easy to see why.

She is young and has never held a job of national relevance. But she is a breath of fresh air in the same way that Barack Obama was in 2008 and good campaign consultants should know how to play that.
