Pink for Africa, a New Jersey based non-profit organization whose mission is to raise awareness about breast cancer in African communities, will be hosting its inaugural fundraiser on Saturday, September 19th in New Jersey.
Pink for Africa was founded by breast cancer survivor Juliette Mills- Lutterodt, whose grueling experience and battle with the disease stirred her to become a voice and support system for other women at risk.
The masquerade ball will raise funds to support the organization’s programs, which include breast cancer education, research and financial support for treatment, mentorship, and more. Since its launch in 2013, Pink for Africa has provided support to hundreds of women in Ghana, and is leading the way in breast cancer education in the country.
This year’s fundraiser will take place at Van Vleck House and Gardens, 21 Van Vleck Street, Montclair, New Jersey, from 6pm-11pm. The event will include live and silent auctions, a fashion show, musical performances, award presentations and much more. One hundred percent of the proceeds will benefit Pink for Africa.
