Poem: Lost

In Uganda

We are too much carried away

Wining, dining, and merrying around
We are too much carried away
Lost in the world we are meant to
enjoy
We spend all of our time and resources
In things that matter little to our soul
We are blindfolded to the nature around us
Little we see in the nature that is ours
Less we enjoy in the nature meant for us
We are too much carried away
Lost in the world we are meant to
enjoy
