After taking up professional culinary lessons and travelling around the world working in five-star hotels and restaurants, the 24-year-old Kenyan chef decided to return to his home country.
He later resolved to move away from working in restaurants to teaching cooking classes online and privately.
He told news site CNN that he now has the freedom to “do whatever I want in terms of creating a menu, creating recipes and cooking different meals… which I would never get to do if I was working in a restaurant.”
His aim is to bring Africa together through its cuisine.
