Chef Dieuveil Malonga
The goal of this Congolese chef is to spread African cuisine throughout the world by making as many people as possible taste it.
Born in Linzolo in Congo, Malonga later moved to Germany after his parents death, where he began cooking classes at high school.
He had before then begun fusing African and German products for his meals and that is where his culinary style called Afro-Fusion started.
Malonga worked in Marseille as a sous-chef, before starring in the reality TV show TopChef, which gave him the opportunity to be in touch with renowned chefs and to do private dinner for celebrities and ambassadors.
He has, so far, been to so many different African countries doing kitchen parties.
“My kitchen parties are like my culinary world tour. I’ve even been in Indonesia. I cooked for an Indonesian restaurant and they loved it. They learnt how to make it and now they keep cooking my recipe in their restaurant,” he said.
