Six simple ways to protect your identity on social media

How to change your twitter password — wikiHow

Do not use the same password for all your social media accounts

Use different passwords for different accounts every time. Doing the opposite means an online thief who is able to take your password on one account can use the same login details to access your other accounts. Passwords such as dates of birth, spouse’s names or last four digits of phone numbers should be avoided. Instead, use passwords that are at least six characters long, contain upper and lower case letters, symbols or numbers. If possible, change your passwords on your social media accounts every three months.
