Queens native Eric ‘Badlands’ Booker has set a new record by downing a gallon of lemonade in a jaw-dropping 21 seconds at the annual Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest on Thursday. Booker’s electrifying performance left the crowd in awe as he effortlessly conquered the sour challenge by gulping the jug full of soar citrus juice.

This is the fourth consecutive time he has earned the title, as reported by Daily Mail. After his triumphant victory, Booker, 55, celebrated with a resounding roar into the microphone. He is renowned for his YouTube channel “BadlandsChugs” where he showcases his soda-chugging skills.

He has dominated the lemonade-chugging challenge since its inception in 2021, defending his title each year. In 2023, he set a world record by chugging a gallon of lemonade in 23.08 seconds.

This year’s victory, clocking in at 21 seconds, preceded Patrick Bertoletti’s triumph in the hot dog eating contest, where he consumed 58 hot dogs in 10 minutes. Geoffrey Epster and James Webb followed with 53 and 52 hot dogs, respectively.

Competing for the ninth time, Patrick Bertoletti’s 58 hot dogs fell short of Joey Chestnut’s record of 76 set in 2021.

In the women’s competition, defending champion Miki Sudo broke the record by eating 51 hot dogs, with Mayoi Ebihara finishing second with 37.
