Amber Williams, the distraught girlfriend of late rapper Rich Homie Quan, made a frantic 911 call after discovering him unresponsive. In the audio obtained by TMZ, Williams, who has two sons with the rapper, reported that he wasn’t breathing, had no heartbeat, and began foaming at the mouth when she turned him over.
The 34-year-old musician, whose real name was Dequantes Devontay Lamar, had fallen asleep on the living room couch the previous night and never came to bed. Believing he was still asleep from the night before, Williams placed a blanket over Rich Homie before getting her son off to school.
“Now, I just checked on him again because he never got up. I don’t feel a heartbeat, I don’t see him breathing,” she said.
Despite difficulties hearing her, the dispatcher immediately sent paramedics after Amber Williams confirmed Rich Homie Quan wasn’t breathing.
The dispatcher then guided Williams through administering CPR, instructing her to lay him on his back on the floor.
‘He is not waking up!’ Williams said, distressed.
