Work Time – Ghana

Through Cocoa360, a community-based organization in Ghana that uses proceeds from cocoa farms to run health clinic and tuition-free school for girls, parents can see to it that their female children go to school. Founded by Shadrack Frimpong, parents offer their time to work on cocoa farms especially during harvest. Proceeds of their work in monetary value is then used to cater to the fees of their children. Through the NGO, several girls in rural areas who would have not gained an education are now in school.
