Guardianship laws

In Sudan, women must be under the guardianship of a man. The guardians are then allowed to make contracts on behalf of the women including marriage contracts as per the law.  In  Sudan, the legal age of marriage is 10 years old, and a guardian is required to show the benefits of the marriage to a minor before a contract can be considered valid.
