Legendary American rapper Snoop Dogg has taken a jab at Spotify, making it clear to fans he wants them grooving to his songs on Tune.FM, of which he is the new face.
Although Snoop has over 30 million monthly Spotify listeners, he’s now focused on projecting his music on Tune.FM, saying Spotify really has no place in the preference list.
Snoop was announced as the “face” of Tune.FM on Thursday as they put down stakes in the Web3 market.

The legendary rapper candidly told Billboard he’s cut ties with Spotify, and that fans should be hopping onto his content only on Tune.FM.

Snoop Dogg’s recent song “Spaceship Party” began making waves on the Tune.FM platform following the partnership, the first of many strides to move the rapper’s catalog over to Tune.FM.

Snoop Dogg faced backlash on social media for his Crypto Ball performance right before Donald Trump’s inauguration, as his appearance did not align with most of his comments in the past.
Nonetheless, the iconic rapper fortunately happened to meet Tune.FM founder and CEO Andrew Antar at the Crypto Ball, and they sealed the deal that Snoop is not taking for granted now.
Over the years, Snoop Dogg has been very vocal about his battles with Spotify, once stating that his bank account only received $45K for 1 billion streams.
He’s also not holding back when it comes to his former boss, Suge Knight, or the rumored jealousy surrounding their legendary record label, and it appears Death Row Records’ music will now be making its way to Tune.FM.
