Ebonie Collins was recently arrested after a police chase. However, a video from the police bodycam has piqued interest in her case.
Police in Oak Brook arrested the 27-year-old earlier this month after they saw the green-clad woman get into a black Hyundai and then saw a traffic infraction. They attempted to pull over the vehicle, but the driver escaped.

Police ended the chase as the Hyundai turned onto I-88. A license plate scanner later detected the vehicle around 290/Austin, leading Village Park police to take action. According to Fox32, Village Park police discovered and tried to stop the Hyundai after it took an LPR hit close to 290/Austin.
Police used a helicopter to track the Hyundai as it proceeded to I-90/94 and Garfield with its hazard lights activated. The driver eventually stopped on the highway shoulder.
Collins got out of the car before she was arrested. She faces charges of operating an uninsured motor vehicle, speeding 35+ miles per hour over limit, having no valid registration, and aggravated fleeing and eluding a police officer. She had fled from Aurora police the day before the chase.
Body camera footage from one of the officers, which was shared on Instagram, showed the officers getting flirtatious with the suspect.
One told her, “You’re like a race car driver.” One cop even expressed interest in her Instagram and TikTok, asked about her relationship status, and brought up his pay.
Netizens left remarks, with one saying, “Think he bonded her out?” Another wrote, “Bro said let me sit in the back with her. They forgot the body cameras was on???”
