Leah Wanjiku Muguku

Leah is a successful entrepreneur and businesswoman known for her humble beginning. The former poor primary school teacher left her teaching job in 1963 to assist her husband, Nelson Muguku, in their poultry business, which they started with just two hens and a cock. A few years later, the farm transformed into one of the largest poultry farms and bird-hatching centers in Kenya.

Leah is also the owner of the multi-billion Waterfront Mall in Karen City, Kenya – a business mall that sits on a 50-acre land with an artificial lake covering five acres. According to Nairobi.co.ke, Waterfront Mall is valued at 20 billion Kenyan Shillings.
