These African countries host the world’s most neglected crises in 2019

Ethiopia

Although coming in as world’s number 9 and Africa’s number 7, Ethiopia ironically ranks as the number one country in the world with the most displaced people with a whopping number of 2.9 million internally displaced people in 2018 alone. Combined with natural disasters such as the very current droughts, crises in Ethiopia are affecting political, social and economic development and forcing thousands of people to seek refuge in neighbouring countries.
