These African leaders are so scared of the internet that they want it banned
Joseph Kabila – DR Congo

Kabila has on several occasions ordered the shutdown of internet ahead of protests which have turned deadly with police and military forces firing live bullets and tear gas at protesters.

He also ordered the shutdown of Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, Skype, Viber, Pinterest, YouTube and LinkedIn to avoid the dissemination of information and distribution of pictures online.
