Okapi…Futurity

Okapi

Also known as the forest giraffe due to its reminiscent stripes, the okapi is only found in the northeast portion of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

The okapi is a solitary animal which is most active in the day.

The gestational period of an okapi is 440 to 450 days.

The giraffe and okapi are part of the Giraffidae family.
