The study shows that Louisiana’s labor force participation rate is on the low side. “Louisiana’s working-age population has also decreased over the last five years, which limits your choice of potential employees. More entrepreneurs in Louisiana began their business out of necessity, with only 71.9 percent starting their company due to opportunity reasons.”
